Action figure Status report from Jon

This was posted today over on the WB in Jon's Daily Update. For those of you that don't travel over there much anymore, here are the figure highlights.....

<ul type="square">[*]SPAWN Series 29 ? Final paint revisions are just about done and fully-painted figure photography (say that three times fast) should be ready for public dissemination fairly soon (probably not this week, but soon).[*]SPAWN Series 30 ? We have selected the lineup and have initial concept sketches done. The Design Group is currently working on the first sculpture for Todd?s review and once we have come to the conclusion that we have a full grasp on the style we are going for, we will move forward.[*]3-Inch Mini SPAWN Trading Figures ? I have a set of unpainted prototypes on my desk as I?m typing this. These figures have held their detail extremely well and look amazing. They are not articulated.[*]McFarlane?s Dragons Series 4 ? Sculpting is just about done. They look great, as you can imagine, but we still have quite a ways to go as far as the creative process is concerned ? the paint on our Dragons figures takes a while to perfect ? so don?t expect images for a some time.[*]McFarlane?s Military: Redeployed Series 2 ? Presently being painted. I have already shown a teaser of this line and there will be more teasers coming your way in the near future.[*]McFarlane?s Cyber Units ? I have an unpainted set of these figures on my desk as well. It shouldn?t be too much longer before I have more photography to share with you. These figures do not connect like they did when released as Interlink, but that was always our intention with this line. Cyber Units are heavily-articulated and highly-detailed robotic action figures meant for new fans and collectors. Of course, if you missed them when they were originally released, then now is your chance to grab some cool robots, if you are so inclined.[*]McFarlane?s Pop Culture Masterworks: 3D Album Covers ? ?Led Zeppelin 1? is scheduled for a March release. ?Never Mind the Bollocks Here?s the Sex Pistols? is scheduled to be released around mid-year and there are a few others we are currently working on, but which cannot yet be discussed.[*]McFarlane?s Pop Culture Masterworks: 3D Movie Posters ? Jaws is currently in development. More details on other film properties are forthcoming.[*]ELVIS ?6? ? We are well under way with our sixth action figure based on Elvis Presley. Details to come.[*]CONAN ? Nothing to report at this time other than the fact that we are all big fans of the character and his world and we are not done with CONAN yet.[*]Corpse Bride Series 2 ? In development. Details to come.[*]The Simpsons ? The ?Couch Gag? boxed set is nearing final approval and we are hard at work on future products.[*]MORE ? Yes, there is more, but nothing that can be shared just yet.[/list]

Can't wait to see where they go with Spawn S-30 (?)

I really hope they make at least one album cover and/or movie poaster I'd want..........

i'm really excited about the simpsons line actually, at first i was "eh" but after seeing the ironic punishment i really can't wait for the rest of the series
